Materials

  • Pictures of zoo animals
  • Pencils and paper for each student

Warm-up

  • Ask the students if they have ever been to a zoo before.
  • Ask the students if they can name any animals that they have seen at the zoo.
  • Write the names of the animals on the board.

Direct Instruction

  • Show the students pictures of various zoo animals and ask them to name each one.
