Objectives & Outcomes

  • Students will be able to use a/some/an correctly when ordering food at a restaurant.

Materials

  • A variety of restaurant menus (or a blank one for students to create their own)
  • Pencils
  • Grammar worksheets with examples of a/some/an and corresponding foods (one per student)

Warm-up

  • Draw a picture of a restaurant on the board and label the different parts of the menu (appetizers, main dishes, desserts). Ask students to raise their hands when they see a/some/an on the menu.
