Objectives & Outcomes

Materials

  • Picture of a classroom
  • Name tags or stickers
  • Marker or pen

Warm-up

  • Show students the picture of a classroom and ask them to identify the different parts of the classroom.
  • Encourage them to use descriptive words, such as "big" or "small".

Direct Instruction

  • Introduce the word "classroom" and explain that it is a place where students go to learn and where teachers teach them.
  • Ask students to think of the names of other places where people go to learn, such as a school or a university.

Guided Practice

  • Show students a picture of a classroom and ask them questions such as:
